September 11, 2001 Remembered

OR
AND

For some, the tragedy of September 11 lives on, five years after it happened. For others, life has returned to normal, and this event has faded into the past. For some adults, teens and older children, this event may have left deep scars of fear, anger or grief; for younger children, this event may have left little personal meaning. At Bishop Quinn today, we hold this prayer service to help us admit the fear, anger and grief caused by September 11, 2001, to connect to Jesus' suffering (the Paschal Mystery), and, in looking at the future, to choose a pathway of leadership by putting into practice Jesus' teachings about forgiveness, hope and service.

Please download our prayer service below and see how our student body came together on this 5 year anniversary of our fallen brothers and sisters - those who now represent all Americans in freedom, honor and in peace.
