What is CSF?

The California Scholarship Federation (known as CSF) is a statewide organization whose purpose is to recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement. Qualifying for membership is on a semester basis following a point system (not your GPA) that requires A's and B's in the most difficult classes. To become a lifetime member (Sealbearer), students must have qualified for four semesters during their last three years of high school, including one semester in the senior year. Lifetime members receive a special seal on their diploma, a certificate and gold cords to be worn at the graduation ceremony. CSF also grants scholarships to worthy lifetime members. Many of our Sealbearers find their CSF Life Membership advantageous in gaining scholarships and seeking university/college acceptance. Throughout the year, CSF members visit universities and colleges around the state and receive vital information for college entrance, financial aid and scholarships.
